I'm an outdoorsy, active type, happiest in my wellies, walking or chainsaw boots but also enjoy dressing up sometimes eg. having dinner with friends & socialising with, dare I say it, interesting, cultured, Guardian reading types.
Rather than describe what I look like I'll let you judge the photo but I'm slim and have always been told I look younger than I am - something at last I appreciate.
I'm very independant but easy going, fairly fit but not really sporty, quite wholesome - but not in the jolly hockey sticks sense - more the eating museli, riding bikes, good collection of wooly jumpers sense, but I don't take myself too seriously and also enjoy some of the finer pleasures in life (good food & wine, the odd bit of cashmere etc) and am definately not one of life's willing little campers - well not in this country anyway. Vivacious, philosophical, down to earth, with eclectic tastes, interested in people but appreciative of solitude... riddled with contradictions...I could go on...
What's important to me - honesty and integrity, humour, friends, my nephews and neices, fresh air, wood smoke, trees, bird song, my carbon footprint, growing things, real time, real food, real life...
Some of the things I do/am motivated by are: cycling/walking/skiing/planting trees/cutting them down/growing things esp my own veg/cooking/environmental issues/France/architecture/history/desig n/independant cinema/live music/good conversation.
